#Scene13: Here are events and activities you can do in Macon this weekend

MACON, Ga. — It is almost time for the weekend and #scene13 has all you need to know about what is fun, fresh and lively in your community.

FRIDAY: 

Macon

  • If you're out with the little ones you can take them to Carolyn Crayton Park for the 3rd annual Trunk-or-Treat festival. The event is hosted by The Macon-Bibb County Recreation Department & the Melanated Community Stimulation Project, Inc.  There will be face painting, bounce houses, food and a DJ. The event is free.

When: 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. 

Tickets: Free

Where: The Society Garden 

When: 8:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Tickets: $15

SATURDAY: 

Macon

  • In honor of the famous movie Green Tomato Festival will be downtown Juliette all weekend. There will be arts & crafts, food vendors and more

Where: Juliette, GA near the Whistle Stop Café 

When: Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Tickets: Free

The Society Garden will be hosting a Shrek themed Rave. The event will have a laser light show and four live DJ's from all over Georgia in different areas of the Garden. It's encouraged to come dressed as your favorite Shrek character! There will be a $200 Grand prize for Best Costume. This is an adults only event!

When: 8 P.M. until midnight
