Here's where you can celebrate and watch fireworks for the Fourth of July in our area

Here are dates and locations you can watch some fireworks to celebrate our country's birthday this year.

FRIDAY, JUNE 28

Centerville Independence Day Celebration - Centerville City Hall: Bring your chairs and blankets to enjoy live music, food trucks, a free kids zone, and fireworks. The celebration is at 300 Church Street and begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m. You can find more info here.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

Freedom Fireworks - Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry: There will be patriotic skydiving, a live band, and kids zone. Gates open at 7 p.m. and fireworks will start around 9:30 p.m. at the West Gate parking lots. Admission is free, and no alcohol or dogs are allowed. For more information click here.

20th Annual Celebrate America Event - The Rock Ranch: Enjoy pony rides, paddle boats, pedal carts, petting zoos, and much more at the ranch starting at 2 p.m. Fireworks are expected to go off around 9:45 p.m. You can buy tickets online here. The Rock Ranch is located at 5020 Barnesville Hwy, The Rock, Georgia 30285.

SUNDAY, JUNE 30

Celebrate Freedom - The Assembly at Warner Robins: The event begins at 6:30 p.m. on the church grounds. It features a worship band, food trucks, and a kids zone with inflatables. Fireworks will start around 9 p.m. Bring a lawn chair to this free event located at 6040 Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins. Click here to learn more.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 3

37th Annual Warner Robins Independence Day Concert - McConnell-Talbert Stadium: Gates open at 6 p.m. and the show will feature Rebecca Howell as opening act and Better than Ezra as the headliner. Fireworks will follow the show. For more information, click here.

Annual Fireworks Show - Monroe County Recreation Department: There will be inflatables, pony rides and water activities for children. Food vendors will be there as well. The event begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. at 100 Dan Pitts Drive. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration - Central Georgia Technical College in Milledgeville: The fireworks show will begin around 9:15 p.m. There are no designated parking areas, so guests are encouraged to arrive early. For more information about the show click here.

THURSDAY, JULY 4

25th Annual Sparks Over the Park Independence Day Celebration at Lake Tobesofkee in Macon: Park gates open at 7 a.m. and the Travis Bryant Band will perform from 6 to 9 p.m. Fireworks are expected to start around 9:15 p.m. You can find more information, like price of admission and safety tips, here.

Fourth of July Fireworks at Southern Pines Park in Dublin: Starting at 5 p.m. there will be food vendors, live music, and a wings eating content. The water park will open at 7 p.m. and fireworks will begin when it's dark. For more information, click here.
