Kodi Lee’s journey on ‘America’s Got Talent’ started back in May.

Wednesday night, he was named the winner of the show. The 23-year-old is from California.

After the show he shared the following message on his Instagram,

‘Thank you so much for all the votes!!!! I can’t believe I’m the winner of #agt !!! I felt your love and support all season and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!!!! #agtfinale #love #changingtheworld’

In May, Lee brought AGT judges and a lot of other people watching the show to tears.

His mom explained Lee is blind and has autism and they found out early on he loved music when he was listening to a song and his eyes went huge and he started singing.

Gabrielle Union hit the ‘golden buzzer’ for Lee during his audition. By getting the golden buzzer, he went straight to the live shows in Hollywood. After he won she told him, "you just changed the world."

Lee won $1 million and will headline the 'America’s Got Talent Live' show at the Paris Theater at Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in November.
