2 hospitalized after shootout on Hartley Avenue in Warner Robins

There is no word on the victims' conditions at this time.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Warner Robins police are investigating after a shooting that happened on 1319 Hartley Avenue Monday.

According to a news release from the Warner Robins Police Department, the call came in just after 6:15 p.m. about two men injured in a shootout in the area. It was reported that a 23-year-old was shot in the chest and right leg, and he drove himself to the Houston Medical Center. 

The other victim, a 26-year-old man, was shot in the left temple and his stomach. He wrecked his car on Jones Place near S. Pleasant Hill Road after the shooting and was taken to Atrium Health Navicent, the Medical Center in Macon.

There is no word on the victims' conditions at this time.

This case is still under investigation.
