Bibb deputies arrest 3rd suspect in teen's shooting death

22-year-old Dalton Lee Spires and 17-year-old Xavier Jamal Lewis were arrested Friday in the death of 17-year-old Joe Woolfolk.

MACON, Ga. — UPDATE, 10:35 p.m.:

Bibb deputies have made a third arrest in the Thursday night shooting death of 17-year-old Joseph Woolfolk.

A news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old Xavier Jamal Lewis was arrested around 9 p.m. Friday night. He was taken to the Bibb County jail where he is charged with murder. He is being held without bond.

Bibb deputies have made a second arrest in the Thursday night shooting death of a Macon teen.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, 22-year-old Dalton Lee Spires was arrested Friday afternoon in connection to the death of 17-year-old Joe Woolfolk. The release says that the shooting stemmed from an illegal drug transaction.

Spires was taken to the Bibb County jail and charged with Murder and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. He is being held without bond.
