Bibb deputies investigating burglary at Virginia College

It appears a hole was cut into the roof and items were taken from inside the building

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial burglary at the closed Virginia College campus in Macon.

Investigators at the scene told 13WMAZ that they don’t know when the burglary happened, but it appears someone – or a group of people – cut a hole in the roof and climbed inside the building to take some items.

When deputies got to the scene, no one was inside the building.

Anyone with information about the burglary can call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
