House, two cars hit in Milledgeville drive-by shooting

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No one was injured.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — Milledgeville Police are investigating after a late-night drive-by shooting on Grandview Drive.

According to an incident report from MPD Officer W. Brooks, they responded to a scene at Grandview Drive around 10:40 p.m. Sunday.

Brooks met with a 911 caller who said she was sitting inside her house when she heard gunfire. She hit the ground to avoid being hit, but saw a dark-colored vehicle speeding away from the address.

Another officer reported finding multiple shell casings near the intersection of Grandview and Anthony Way.

As more officers got to the scene, Brooks was sent back to the original caller’s home because there was a bullet hole in the back bedroom along with a bullet.

While at the home, Brooks was told Nissan Altima had both of its rear windows shot out.

Another car at a nearby intersection had also been shot, damaging the front driver’s side wheel, the hood and the rear driver’s side door.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
