Bibb deputies arrest 2 in December shooting death

26-year-old Noel Latonia Adams and 54-year-old Frank James Tolbert were arrested for the December 1 murder of 23-year-old Eric Broomfield.

MACON, Ga. — Bibb deputies arrested two people in the December 1 death of a Macon man Friday.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, 26-year-old Noel Latonia Adams and 54-year-old Frank James Tolbert were arrested for the murder of 23-year-old Eric Broomfield.

On December 1, deputies found a man inside a car in an alleyway with blood on him.

The release says the sheriff's office got a tip Friday about Adams and Tolbert being involved with Broomfield's murder. 

Investigators arrested Adams at a home on Brentwood Drive and captured Tolbert at the 1200 block of Winton Avenue. Both were taken to the Bibb County jail where they are charged with murder. There is currently no bond.
