A Macon mother was charged Tuesday with felony murder in the death of her 1-year-old.
Deputies responded to Coliseum Northside Hospital around 1 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, for an unresponsive infant call.
Investigators found the infant had been hit in the head by his father, 21-year-old A’kym Henderson, and he was charged with murder.
On Tuesday, they found the baby’s mother – 20-year-old Jaimie Howard – was there when the Henderson allegedly hit the child and that she didn’t seek immediate medical attention for him.
She was arrested and charged with felony murder. She is currently in the Bibb County Jail with no bond.
