Man shot in Macon motel parking lot

It happened at the Eisenhower Parkway Regency Inn & Suites on New Year's Eve.

MACON, Ga. — A man is hurt after he was shot in a Macon motel parking lot on New Year's Eve.

According to Lt. Sean DeFoe with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, one man is hurt after a shooting in the outside parking lot of the Regency Inn & Suites on Eisenhower Parkway in Macon.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

A release from the sheriff's office says 29-year-old Terrance Fallon Threatt Sr. was shot "several times."  

DeFoe says he was taken to a hospital by ambulance. He is listed in critical, but stable condition.

Investigators are still trying to determine what led up to the shooting.
