Man killed in Warner Robins club shooting identified

The suspected gunman is still on the run

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — UPDATE, 1:06 p.m.

In a press release sent by Acting Police Chief John Wagner, Warner Robins Police has identified the victim as 38-year-old Tamarco Santel Head of Macon.

The release says the crime scene is still active.

Original Story, 5:21 a.m.

A man is dead after being shot early Saturday morning as people were leaving a club in Warner Robins.

According to Warner Robins Police, it happened at Club Boss on North Davis Drive around 2 a.m. Saturday.

Officers were originally headed to the scene to help clear out the parking lot when shots were fired in the front breezeway of the club.

A 38-year-old man was hit by the gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of his next of kin.

Police say they are working to identify a suspect and they are still at the scene.
