JOHNSON COUNTY, Ga. — Johnson County Schools announced Wednesday that students will shift to virtual learning this Friday.
According to a post on the district's Facebook page, the shift comes after a staff shortage due to COVID-19 concerns and the district says the change is a necessary step in keeping students and staff safe.
The district says they are "hopeful" that classes will be able to resume on Tuesday, January 18.
