The access to the Ocmulgee River is closed due to weather.
The Department of Natural Resources and the Parks and Beautification Department is closing all access to the river due to how fast it is flowing, according to a Macon-Bibb County news release.
The ramps in Amerson River Park and at Spring Street are closed.
The parks will stay open, but river levels will be monitored to determine any future closings.
