Brookhaven police responded to an unusual call early Wednesday when several sheep escaped an enclosure.
Police said the grazing sheep found their way to Dresden Drive along with their security dogs and that's where the police found them.
On social media, Wednesday, police posted pictures of the wayward flock and said that they don't intend to press charges against the sheep for blocking a roadway or impeding the flow of traffic.
They've since been safely returned to their enclosure.
It turns out, Brookhaven has had their share of unusual loose animal calls lately.
On March 16, officers responded to a call that included a swarm of bees. That's when another officer donned a beekeeper's veil and helped get the bees and their hives relocated.
