Car crashes into Macon restaurant after driver has seizure

A Bibb County spokesman says the driver, 30-year-old Levi Calhoun, hit the building after having a seizure while driving.

A car crashed into Anderson's Diner located at 3700 Pio Nono Ave. in Macon Monday morning.

It happened around 6 a.m., according to Sgt.Clay Williams with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. Williams says the driver, 30-year-old Levi Calhoun, hit the building after having a seizure while driving.

Calhoun's mother, 60-year-old Linda Buffington, was also in the car. She was taken to the hospital, according to Williams.

No charges are being filed in the accident.

The restaurant's chef, Larry Slocumb, says he's grateful that nobody was hurt.
