Coliseum Health System and Fairview Park Hospital says they've renewed an agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia.
In a press release, Coliseum said:
"We are delighted to announce that we have signed a new agreement with Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield Georgia, so that patients participating in their insurance programs can continue to receive in-network coverage at our hospitals, physician practices and outpatient facilities.... Anthem members will experience no gap in their ‘in-network’ coverage for care provided this week. Caring for our community is a privilege and we are pleased to be able to continue to do so as part of the Anthem BCBS GA network."
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield is the trade name of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, according to their website.
The agreement is dated for October 1.
