Veterans who use the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin will get a chance to speak out on ways they can improve at a town hall meeting.

According to a news release from the Dublin VA, veterans, their families, and others in the community are invited to the center's first in a series of open discussions.

The first meeting is aimed at the VA's newest program, the MISSION Act.

The act went into effect June 6 and hopes to offer more access to health care, not just at the VA but non-VA providers as well. A representative with the Veterans Benefits Administration will be there to answer questions.

The meeting will be at the VA's auditorium June 17 at 5 p.m.
