Fire on I-75 blocks all lanes

All lanes are blocked off.

UPDATE: Just after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, GDOT announced they had cleared the wreck debris. Traffic may not clear immediately.

Crews had to shovel up remains of the burned tractor trailer once they moved it to the shoulder.

An accident on I-75 North in Houston County leaves all lanes shutdown Monday night.

At 1:10 a.m. Tuesday morning, GDOT's estimated time for the wreck to clear was 3 a.m.

According to Dooly County Sheriff Craig Peavy, a tractor trailer fire at mile marker 127 blocked all lanes of traffic.

The wreck was within Houston County limits, but Dooly authorities and Georgia State Patrol troopers were also on the scene overnight.

At 1:30 a.m., there was no word yet on any injuries.

This is a developing story.
