First Friday events to do in Central Georgia

There are a line of events to do on First Friday for the whole family.

Macon STEM Pop-up

Where: Travis Jean 530 Cherry Street

Time: 5 p.m.- 7 p.m.

Price: Free

The event is designed to let families explore science, technology, engineering, and math with hands-on activities. That includes making miniature Christmas trees, learning about 3D scanning, electric circuits, and making slime.

The Tubman Holiday Celebration

Where: The Tubman Museum

Time: 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

Price: $5

There will be a Nigerian Christmas tree lighting, children's art workshop, and live music by Bibb County School District choirs and musicians.

Dublin Yuletide

Where: Stubbs Park 100 South Drive

Time: 6 p.m.-9 p.m

Price: Free

Dublin hosts a mile of magic with tree lighting and residences and the park.

Milledgeville Yuletide:

Where: W. Hancock Street in front of the Local Yolkal Cafe

Time: 6 p.m.

People can come for Santa Claus, hot chocolate, and carolers.

Cochran-Bleckley lighted Christmas Parade:

Where: Individuals participating in the parade will line up on Sarah Street and College Street. The Parade will then proceed down Second Street through downtown Cochran, ending on Ash Street as it has in years past.

Time: 7 p.m.
