Fort Valley woman hit, killed on I-75 in Perry

The woman had pulled over and gotten out of her car for unknown reasons.

A woman is dead after she was hit on I-75 in Perry Friday night.

The accident happened on I-75 Southbound around 11 p.m. near mile marker 133, a Georgia State Patrol news release says.

Natalie Green, 34, of Fort Valley pulled over on the right side of the interstate for unknown reasons.

The release says Green was first struck by a Ford F150 with its right side mirror. Immediately after, the driver pulled over to call 911.

While waiting for help to arrive, a Pontiac Grand Am was struck by a truck, which caused it to run into the F150. The truck that struck the Pontiac fled the scene.

Then, a black Chrysler 300 struck Green for a second time.

The Georgia State Patrol is still investigating the accident.
