SPARTA — UPDATE, 8:30 a.m.:
Hancock County Coroner Adrick Ingram identified the deceased man as 22-year-old Dequane Williams of Sparta.
Ingram would not comment on cause of death or apparent injuries.
GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles expects more details to become available sometime Thursday.

UPDATE, 11 p.m.:
The GBI was called to Fairmont Road in Sparta at around 6:25 p.m. at the request of the Hancock County Sheriff's Office.
We're told that a man was involved in a traffic stop with two Hancock County Sheriff's Deputies and one GSP officer. There was some kind of incident that caused law enforcement to make an arrest and the death happened somewhere during that point.
The GBI has been scarce with the details and would not say whether drugs or a weapon were involved.
Nelly Miles, a spokesperson for Georgia Bureau of Investigation, tweeted that their office are gathering details and will have more information in the morning.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Hancock County Sheriff's Office are investigating a fatality at 129 Fairmont Road in Sparta.
