GEICO’s Macon office plans on hiring 500 people this year

One of Central Georgia's largest employers is looking to add more than 500 employees, and benefits are included

MACON, Ga. — If you’re looking for a full-time or part-time job with benefits, GEICO’s Macon office is planning on hiring 500 people in 2020.

According to a news release, there are openings in the following departments: claims, salvage, emergency roadside service, customer service and sales.

No prior insurance experience is needed; and training, mentorship and support will be provided to new associates.

GEICO says they’re one of Central Georgia’s largest private employers and the Macon office is GEICO’s largest regional operations.

Employees are offered the Total Rewards Program, which includes a health benefits package, retirement and finance options and continuing education opportunities.
