Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson is in the hospital after an injury at his Washington, DC home Tuesday night.

According to a news release from his spokesperson, Amanda Maddox, Isakson fell in his apartment and suffered four fractured ribs.

The release says he was admitted to George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. where "he is in pain, but resting and doing well. Senator Isakson looks forward to fully recovering and getting back to work for Georgians.”
