The Wilkinson County Sheriff's Office is looking for answers after finding human skeletal remains.
According to Sheriff Richard Chatman, the remains were found in the Knob Hill area off of Highway 57 in Wilkinson County.
Chatman says someone discovered the remains Wednesday while doing some timber cruising on the property.
Thursday, investigators returned to the area to conduct a grid search to find out more details.
The skeletal remains are now at the state crime lab for further investigation.
