Last month, two brothers, Ryan Moore and Justin Moore, were killed, and another boy, Zach Holloway, was hurt in an accident at a Milledgeville Mud Boggin track after a driver lost control of his truck. A Jones County family is raising money to support Holloway and his family

Ashlee Green listens to a live band with her family but she says she is thinking about 11-year-old Zach Holloway's family.

"As a mother of two, I can't even fathom on any day what that family is going through. Family is everything and especially when I heard what happened, it really hits close to home," said Green.

Green says she's known Holloway's family for about 20 years. She is raising money at Chevy's Pizza in Gray this Saturday to help pay for Holloway's medical bills.

"We hope that this will help in some way to show love from my family to them and also all the other families," Green said.

The benefit starts at 9 a.m. There will be a live band, a silent auction, a corn hole tournament, and a poker run. Green says the people in Jones County are a close-knit community when something tragic happens.

Green said, "I wish that there was something else that we could do, but we hope that this way it will help out in some way."

Green says she wants Holloway's family to know they will always have a friend in her.

If you want to participate in the poker run, Green says it's $20 per rider and $10 per passenger.

She says she hopes to raise about $10,000.
