La Bella Morelia is celebrating its 1st anniversary by offering $1 street tacos on Wednesday.
The offer lasts until 8 p.m., which is closing time, according to German Marin, who helps run the restaurant.
Marin says that Wednesday's deal is the restaurant's way of thanking its customers for their support throughout the past year.
"We hope to be here for a few more years or many more years," he said.
As for the street tacos, he says they offer el pastor, steak, chicken and chorizo.
"They come with cilantro and onion if you really like them very authentic," he said. He added that they also come with lime, hot sauce, lettuce and cheese if you prefer.
La Bella Morelia started at Smiley's Flea Market before moving the family business over to the current location in downtown Macon.
The restaurant is located at 499 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., which is at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Poplar Street in downtown Macon.
It's open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and closed on Sundays.
