(UPDATE 1:15 p.m.) 13WMAZ spoke with Laurens County Inv. Lance Padgett, who answered some questions regarding details missing in the release.
The football game the text message said the child was selected to attend was the SEC Championship game at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The female suspect, Latora Roundtree, met with the victim's mother the morning of the game. Padgett says the mother felt comfortable enough and let the child go to the game.
Padgett says the child picked both suspects out of a police lineup and that both suspects have prior charges against minors.
He also said Roundtree was arrested first and gave investigators Robert Hall's name. So far, investigators say Roundtree is cooperating with their investigation and Hall is not.
The two are being held until their bond hearing in a few weeks.

Two people are charged with kidnapping and child molestation after taking a child from her home under the guise of going to a football game.
According to a release from the Laurens County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened around the start of December.
Investigators say the child’s mother received a text from a number claiming to be with Laurens County School stating her 10-year-old daughter was selected to go on a field trip to a football game outside the county.
The mother says a woman picked her daughter up on the morning of December 1 and returned home at 8:30 p.m.
The following day, the child told her mother what happened while she was gone.
On December 3, the girl told investigators that the woman who picked her up took her to another vehicle driven by a man.
The pair then allegedly took the 10-year-old to an unknown location and the man reportedly touched her inappropriately while the other woman was present.
The two suspects were identified as Robert Lee Hall, of Sandersville, and Latora Roundtree, of Dublin.
Hall and Roundtree are now charged with one count of enticing a child for indecent purposes, one count of felony child molestation and one count of kidnapping.
The case is still under investigation.
