MACON, Ga. — The Evangelical Ministers Alliance of Macon and Vicinity held their Living the Dream in Worship service on Sunday.
Reverend Clifford Little says the service kicks off Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebrations for the alliance.
Worshipers gathered at Green Tabernacle Baptist Church off Bloomfield Road.
The program included songs, prayer, and a word from Reverend Little.
"Doctor King wasn't just about marching, he was about worshiping and experiencing the gospel. The gospel is about worshiping, but not just about worship, once you worship you gotta go march, and once you march you gotta go worship," he said.
Macon and other cities will be celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday. For a list of events around Central Georgia, click here.
