Macon Bacon looking for a "Kevin" and entertainment crew

You do have to submit a resume to sleo@maconbaconbaseball.com

With the season near, the Macon Bacon team is looking to fill slots for their entertainment crew along with someone to become Kevin the mascot this season.

Sarah Leo, the Macon Bacon's director or Corporate Partnerships, says it takes a few things to fill the slots they're looking for.

You don't have to be athletic but it helps to be in shape.

"Yea I would say it takes some stamina because you're here from game start to game end," Sarah said. "And you're interacting with everyone saying hello and good bye to everyone that comes to the ballpark."

She says it helps to know the Chicken Dance.

"You definitely have to have a fun and enthusiastic outgoing personality, Sarah said. "If you're laid back and kind of quiet it's probably not the gig for you because you have to be in people's faces especially if you're Kevin you have to be around people. You're going to be spending a lot of time with the kids that come to the ballpark that's for sure."

Organizational skills are a must you might have to put all the merchandise in order.

And cleanliness is next to "baconness," which means spraying down the uniform at the end of the night is a must.

If all of this sounds like a lot don't be intimidated you might already have the skills on your resume to get the job done.

"Kind of what you're background is like maybe you've had some cheerleading or entertaining background," Sarah said.

If you would like to take a swing at joining the entertainment crew or to be Kevin, you must email a photo or video of yourself and a resume to Sarah Leo.

Her email address it's sleo@maconbaseball.com

The deadline to submit is Friday night at 10 p.m.

If you're chosen you must attend a tryout this Saturday.
