Macon business collecting goods for Fla. hurricane victims

Mitchell's Automotive on Interstate Drive is teaming up with the Shriners to collect non-perishable items.

One Macon business is collecting goods to drive down to Panama City to help victims of Michael.

Mitchell's Automotive on Interstate Drive is teaming up with the Shriners to collect non-perishable items.

The owner, Mitchell Bunce, started Monday morning and plans to accept items all week.

"The Shriners are asking everyone to bring their donations to my location, and we'll be loading them up in this 26-foot truck here. Water, Gatorade, diapers, any kind of wipes, anything like that, you have," said Bunce.

Bunce says if this truck fills up before the end of the week, he has another truck ready to head to Panama City.

If you would like to donate, you can contact Mitchell's Automotive through their Facebook page.
