MACON, Ga. — One home in Macon was vacant for more than a decade, but now, a couple is now making it their own.
Rachelle Wilson and her husband Trent Mosely recently purchased the Guy Paine house on Hillcrest Avenue. They're set to close on the Italian Renaissance house Friday.
This Saturday, they're offering tours so people can see the historic home before the couple starts renovations.
Rachelle says it will take about year to restore the home to its former glory.
"Even with any kind of repairs we do, it's going to be with as much as we can to honor the intention of what the house was designed to be and keep that historic feel there as much as we can," said Wilson.
