A Macon man is in critical condition after a head-on collision that happened Saturday night

A Macon man is in critical condition after an accident in south Macon Saturday night.

According to a news release from the Bibb Sheriff’s Office, it happened at the intersection of Houston Avenue and Giles Street around 10 p.m.

It was reported to deputies that a white Nissan Versa driven by 69-year-old Jessie Scott, was turning left onto Houston Avenue from Stratton Street when he hit a white Acura head-on.

The driver of the Acura, 18-year-old Justin Soloman, was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, and his passengers were taken to Northside Hospital.

They are listed in stable condition with minor injuries.

Scott was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health where he’s listed in critical condition.
