Macon man turns himself in for gas station killing

He's accused of fatally shooting a man in the chest at a Shell station last week

MACON, Ga. — A Macon 19-year-old is behind bars on a murder charge related to a gas station killing last week.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, Bradford Anderson turned himself in Monday around 3:05 p.m. without incident.

The fatal shooting happened just after 2:30 p.m. last Wednesday at the Shell gas station on Mercer University Drive near the Macon Mall.

20-year-old Randon Hogan died from his injuries, making him Bibb's 12th homicide victim of 2019.
