Macon pedestrian in stable condition after being hit on Hawkinsville Road

A 40-year-old man was crossing the street when he was hit by a car making a left turn on Allen Road.

MACON, Ga. — Bibb deputies are investigating after a pedestrian was hit on Hawkinsville Road at Allen Road Wednesday night.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a 40-year-old man was standing in the turning lane while crossing the street when he was hit by a car making a left turn on Allen Road.

The victim was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health where he is listed in stable condition.

This accident is still under investigation.
