Macon sees power outages, downed trees after severe storms

Traffic lights on Bass Road were affected by power outages in the area.

MACON, Ga. — Parts of Bibb County saw storm damage Saturday night.

People who live along Corbin Avenue were dealing with a downed power line and tree blocking the road.

Crews from Macon-Bibb County had the street blocked off that night.

Parts of Bass Road were completely dark, due to power outages.

Traffic lights went out on Bass Road near I-75 south. Lights were also out along other portions of Bass Road leading up to Zebulon Road.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office confirmed a wreck took place at the intersection of Bass and Foster Roads.

Deputies were out investigating the two-car accident.
