MACON, Ga. — A man is dead after being shot at Brookhaven Townhouses on Macon on Wednesday, according to Bibb Corner Leon Jones.
It happened around 6:31 p.m. according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
Jones says a 37-year-old man was found shot multiple times at Brookhaven Townhouses at 3860 Brookhaven Road.
The man has been identified as 37-year-old Christopher Rachalla. Jones says he recently moved to Macon from Reynolds.
He was pronounced dead shortly after deputies arrived.
A person of interest is in custody according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
