MACON, Ga. — Signage for the businesses opening later this fall at the North Macon Plaza off Bass Road is starting to go up.

But before they open, they need to be staffed. HomeGoods and Marshalls will be holding several hiring events, with the first scheduled for next week.

They will take place at Holiday Inn Express and Suites at 240 North Macon Street.

The schedule is as follows:

  • July 29-Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Aug. 5-9 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Aug. 12-16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Other businesses opening in the shopping center include Michaels, Old Navy, Five Below, Your Pie and more. The project costs about $30 million total.
