The 9th annual Perry Music Festival kicks off Saturday night, and they''ll be rocking and rolling for 10 hours straight.
Lillie Battle has been working with the festival since the beginning and says this year will be bigger and better than ever with 8 bands, including a performance from the Temptations.
There will also be lots of food vendors and activities for children.
Battle says there's a little something for everyone from hip hop to jazz and R&B, the music is bringing thousands to Perry.
"You have people who are traveling, who got off the interstate just to come to the event, they didn't know anything about it, but when they saw all the people, they decided to get off the exit and come and enjoy," Battle said. "We have some people from Pittsburgh that told me that he came because he heard the music, so it's for everyone, anybody can come, it's open to the public and more important it's free."
Battle says she is expecting over 5,000 people to be in attendance tonight.
The Temptations will be hitting the stage at 10 p.m.
The event will be ending at midnight so there's still plenty of time to get out there and enjoy the music.
