A second person has died following Tuesday night’s wreck on Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins.
According to Coroner Danny Galpin, the driver of the F-150 – a 61-year-old African-American man --died at the Medical Center, Navicent Health around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Warner Robins Police say the accident happened at the intersection of Watson Boulevard and Austin Avenue.
They say the F-150 was going east on Watson Boulevard when it crossed the median into oncoming traffic and hit a Kia SUV head-on.
The driver of the Kia, a 43-year-old African-American woman, died at the scene around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday and her passenger was taken to the hospital.
The passenger is currently listed in stable condition, according to Galpin.
The accident remains under investigation and names of the deceased have not been released yet.
