Telfair County's largest employer could close next year.
The Husqvarna Company says it plans to either sell or close its lawn-mower company in McRae.
The company says the plant employs about 1,000 people at peak times of the year.
The Swedish-based company says they plan to move out of some low-performing, low-profit fields ike the push-mowers and snow throwers manufactured in Telfair.
They say the plant will close in June 2019, unless a buyer is found.
