As President Donald Trump makes his way to Central Georgia Monday afternoon to look at damage to the region from Hurricane Michael, some drivers may experience road closures and delays.

According to the Bibb Sheriff’s Office, part of his trip will cause him to travel through Bibb County.

They say drivers may experience temporary road closures and delays on Hawkinsville Road (Highway 247) and I-75 (between Pio Nono Avenue and Mercer University Drive).

The delays will take place between 4-6 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Trump is expected to land at Robins AFB in Warner Robins around 4 p.m. An itinerary for his visit is not available, but 13WMAZ will be covering his landing and trip as part of the presidential press pool.
