Two people are in the hospital after a car accident on Interstate 475 Northbound Tuesday evening.
That's according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. The release says at around 4 p.m., 31-year-old Andre Johnson was driving on I-475 North near Thomaston Road when he lost control of his car as he attempted to change lanes.
Johnson collided with a truck driven by 24-year-old Zachary Schwartz, and then ran into a concrete retaining wall before flipping over. The passenger in Johnson's car, 29-year-old Corey Middleton, was also injured in the wreck.
Johnson and Middleton were taken to the hospital and are listed in stable condition. Schwartz had minor injuries and was treated by EMS at the scene.
