People without power and food in Crisp, Dougherty and surrounding counties will be able to get a hot meal Sunday thanks to Tyson Foods.

According to Tyson Foods, they’ll be setting up a 53-foot-long mobile kitchen with cook teams at two different Walmarts in Cordele and Albany.

Meal service will begin Sunday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. at the following locations: Walmart Supercenter at 1215 E. 16th Ave. in Cordele and 2825 Ledo Rd. in Albany.

They say the operation is capable of feeding people more than 10,000 meals per day.
