Macon County's Christian Meadows has been holding down the offensive line the past few years for the Bulldogs. While battling in the trenches, he has helped push his team to a state championship, and was an Under Armour All-American. Meadows is now ready to leave his mark for the Florida State Seminoles, but before he left for Tallahassee, he was putting in work again, except this time, for the younger generation.
"I was offered to come out here and help the youth,” said Meadows. “And I couldn't turn it down. I asked him when and where, they told me, and now I am here," said Meadows.
Meadows volunteered at the Kids and Pro Football Clinic in Warner Robins hosted by former Falcons players Buddy Curry and Bobby Butler, and of course, the 6-foot 3, 330-pound high school graduate taught these young players the skills he's sharpened throughout his career.
Meadows explained, "It’s very cool teaching these young guys the skills that I know and go ahead and get them started early so when they get down later on the road with their careers, they will be ready. "
Meadows has already left for FSU and will start working out with the Seminoles during the summer to get ready for college football in the fall.
