Nauta, Ridley, Hardman Declare for NFL Draft; Ford Announces Transfer

Friday afternoon was a busy day as the Dawgs had their top 3 receivers declare for the NFL

Junior tight end Isaac Nauta has announced he will forgo his senior year and enter the NFL draft. Nauta played in 14 games this year, catching 30 passes for 430 yards and three touchdowns.

He emerged as a reliable option for Jake Fromm down the stretch, and was 95 yards shy of reaching the 1,000 yard mark for his career.

Then you had, junior wide receiver Riley Ridley. His older brother, Calvin just finished his rookie season with the Atlanta Falcons.Riley was the Dawgs leading receiver with 44 catches for 570 yards and also hauled in 9 touchdowns. He also recorded five catches in the sugar bowl for a team high 61 yards in the loss to Texas earlier this week.

Dawgs not done yet. How about another wide receiver, this time Mecole Hardman. The junior has announced he will also forgo his senior season to go pro. Hardman was UGA's second leading receiver. He caught 7 touchdowns, and 34 catches for 532 yards.

And then you had freshman tight end Luke Ford announcing his transfer to the University of Illinois. The freshman announced on twitter he is heading back home to Illinois for family reasons.

He was the 3rd best tight end out of high school a year ago. He played in 9 games and caught just one pass this season.
