Holsey won a state championship for the Bulldogs back in 2008, and then played basketball for Georgia Tech. He has recently played professional basketball overseas with stops in Romania, France, and Finland.

At his three day camp, which had 50 kids between the ages of 8 and 16, they learned the basic fundamentals, like footwork, ball handling and shooting. But Holsey also likes to create a theme for each of his camps, and this year they focused on the word "ambition", and taught the campers how to work hard in everything they do.

"I feel like its a blessing," Holsey said. "To whom much is given, much is required. By me coming back and  pouring into the kids, God keeps blessing me to be able to do things I do, and play basketball and get paid to do it. So I feel like the least I can do is reach out and pour out to them and let them know that whatever you do in life, never forget where you come from and always stay grounded."
