The Bears were led by KeKe Calloway who scored 14 points in Mercer's 57-40 win over the 49'ers. Mercer got off to a fast start jumping to a 19-9 lead after the first quarter, and then kept the heat on taking a 31-18 halftime lead. The Bears played solid defense throughout the game limiting Charlotte to 40 points, a season low and held them to 29.1 field goal percentage for the entire contest.

Amanda Thompson scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the win.
