Karsen Ochs didn't need much time to get warmed up in Monday's game against Taylor County as she retired the side on strikes.
FPD then scored a run in the bottom of the first off a Olivia Parker RBI single. Then Ochs returned to the circle and struck out the side again. Her night pitching was done, but then she delivered at the plate with a grand slam in the bottom of the 2nd pushing the lead up to 5.
The Lady Vikings scored two more runs in the inning to make it a 7-0 game. Allison Hammock took over for Ochs and the two combined for a perfect game as they beat Taylor County 12-0 in four innings.
Up next, the Vikings will play at ACE on Tuesday.
