Tattnall Looks to win 4th State Title in 6 years

The Tattnall Trojans will play in their third straight championship game Tuesday night against Prince Avenue.

The Tattnall Trojans are carrying a chip on their shoulder. They played in the GHSA 1A Private championship game last year but fell short of the title as they were swept by Savannah Christian. This year the Trojans feel like they have unfinished business.

"It's definitely motivating us because last year, we didn't accomplish the goal that we wanted to accomplish and we have another chance to do that this year," senior pitcher Logan Fink said. "And for all of the seniors this is a good way to go out and hopefully get two rings."

They will play at Mercer University against Prince Avenue Christian and hope to once again claim a state trophy.

"I mean that is motivating, we don't want to feel the way we felt last year after game two. We want to be dog piling and getting sized up for the rings," senior outfielder Austin Marchman said.

Game one begins at 5, and game two at 7:30.
