1 killed in fatal wreck on I-75S near Sardis Church Road exit

A black Acura sedan was going south on I-75 at the exit when it went off the roadway and flipped over.

MACON, Ga. — One person is dead after a wreck on I-75 Southbound in Bibb County Wednesday night.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, it happened just before midnight near the Sardis Church Road exit.

A black Acura sedan was going south on I-75 at the exit when it went off the roadway and flipped over.

The sheriff's office says the driver was taken to Navicent in Macon, where 64-year-old James Albert McGee, of Tallahassee, later died.

No other cars were involved in the wreck.
